Baked Rice Balls

Ingredients for 2 servings

2 bowls cooked sprouted brown rice
2 tablespoons polished sesame seeds
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sweet sake

Preparation

1. Mix the sesame seeds in the freshly cooked
   rice and make flattish rice balls of appropriate
   size.

2. Place the rice balls into a non-stick frying pan
   and fry on low heat until both sides are golden.

3. Mix together the soy sauce and sweet sake and
   brush the mixture onto the rice balls. Fry again lightly in the frying pan.

Note: Sprouted brown rice has the ideal consistency for making rice balls in the usual way. Pay attention to the heat, since it burns easily once the soy sauce and sweet sake have been applied.
