Ochazuke
Ingredients for 2 servings
2 bowl portions of rice, cooked
2 small fillets of salmon, grilled and flaked
pot of freshly brewed green tea
Eden shake or other sesame and seaweed seasoning
Preparation
This is a super healthy Japanese comfort food. And, it is a
great way to use up leftover rice. Place a mound of the flaked salmon on top of
the rice. Sprinkle generously with the Eden Shake. Carefully pour the hot green
tea around the edge of the rice so as not to disturb the salmon. The level of
tea should come up to the salmon but not float it. Enjoy with a big spoon! And,
if you start with a large bowl of sprouted rice, you can reapply salmon and
seasoning halfway through the bowl.
